Choosing the photo

  • Pick the face you remember. A natural smile matters more than a formal portrait.
  • Clear and in focus. The face should be sharp; we remove the background for you.
  • Old prints are welcome. Scan the print or take a phone photo of it in daylight, without glare.
  • Group photos work. We can engrave just the person you choose from a larger photo, as long as their face is clear.
